Raids:
We are a raiding guild, our members are raiders. We raid Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday 20:00-24:00 server time. Your are expected to be online 15 mins before the raid starts for invites and in the instance 5 mins before so we can be buffed and ready to pull at 20:00.
Sign-ups:
You're expected to know how to use the ingame calendar function to signup for raids. Accept if you're coming, if you're not: decline and post in the late section of the forum. If you'll be late accept, but post in the late section when you expect to arrive. If you need to leave early, again accept and post in the late section. Signed up people will be invited over non-signed up people.
Attendance:
75% Attendance is required, if you can't make that expect to get /poked by the officers. If you're unable to improve then you'll be replaced and we will be forced to recruit. If you're going to miss several raids, post in the late section of the forum.
While on this topic, I should point out that "being really busy" is not an excuse for failing to post. It takes about 2 minutes to open up the forum, write a quick note and then go back to whatever is taking up your time.
Of course, RL > wow, but short of a real emergency you should take the time to inform us.
Also note that you should still post even if you have whispered an officer, they might forget or not be online when others are wondering where you are.
Preparedness:
You are expected to read the tactics for new bosses before we reach them. Most of the time there'll be a link in the tactics section of the forum, but if there isn't you can still go to bosskillers, EJ, mmo-champion etc. and read up. At the time I write this everyone should know the first Wrath raid is Naxx and the bosses aren't changing terribly from the old Naxx40, so go read up on them.
You are also expected to come to raids with enough pots/flasks/elixirs/food/ammo/reagents to last through a progression night. For the most part you should be able to get many of these from the guild bank, but if it's out of stock then it's up to you to farm or buy your own. You should be fully buffed for each boss when you answer "yes" to a ready check, don't wait until someone has to tell you.
Pacing:
No one likes sitting about when we should be killing stuff, so keep AFKs during raids to a minimum. If you need to go for more than a couple of minutes then let us know and wait outside so we can get a replacement in. Long or ninja AFKs inside a raid will get you kicked. Officers will try and make loot decisions quickly and keep trash pulls fast.
Loot:
Loot is distributed beetween a sort of a DKP system just to follow the attendance and give loot to who awards it
Loot-whining during a raid is not permitted, if you think a loot decision was unfair then either talk to an officer after the raid is over or PM one on the forum. Bear in mind officers are human too and can make mistakes, but if someone else got some loot you wanted then either the officers thought whoever got it deserved it more or it was an honest mistake, so keep the tone reasonable. Also note that logging out or leaving the raid because you didn't get an item is not acceptable, so don't be surprised if you log back in guildless.
Behavior:
We're a serious guild, so act like it. Banter is fine, but make sure it doesn't slip into abuse. Tone can be hard to read in a text only environment, so if someone seems to be upset or annoyed by your comments play it safe and cut it out. If you don't like someone then simply don't talk to them unless you need to for the raid. It's normally not a good idea to have anyone in the raid on ignore though, as you may miss vital information
We ARE a 25 man guild, so focus your brain on it, dont think about 10 mans.
We have 2 teams that will run 10 mans for PROGRESS - dont whine if you dont get in one of those.
